Oakridge students celebrate outstanding IBDP Results: Outperform Global average yet again.

Students across Oakridge International Schools in India delivered a splendid performance in the recently announced IBDP results. Oakridge schools outperformed the global average of 30.2 for yet another year. They are now ready to head off to some of the top Universities globally!

Oakridge Gachibowli

Oakridge Gachibowli students achieved a diploma score average of 34 against the global average of 30.2, with four scoring the highest score point of 42/45. The class of 2023 have displayed exceptional performance in the program core, with 2.05/3 as their core grade point average.

All the four top scorers from the school–Amshu Vengala, Ananya Wasker, Akhil Kota and Affan Hamid are extremely delighted to see the results of their hard work and perseverance. Ananya, who will be attending the University of California, San Diego, this fall to study Data Science, says, “Scoring 42 in my IB finals was a product of many factors that were instrumental to my success, the salient ones being my parents’ unwavering support and my school’s encouraging environment. I am ecstatic that my effort over the past two years paid off and resulted in these scores, as well as admission offers from universities like UCLA, Purdue and Northeastern.”

Oakridge Bengaluru

Keeping up with the legacy of success, the students at Oakridge International School, Bengaluru, recorded outstanding results in the IB exam 2023. Overall, eight students scored 40 and above. For the past five years, the school has consistently achieved an average score of 30.5 in the IB Diploma Programme (DP), higher than the global average of 30.2. Oakridger Anmol Malik scored 43 points, while two students, Athmika Krishnan and Ankitha Ganeshan, scored 42 points.

Top scorer Anmol Malik placed at Johns Hopkins University, expressed his excitement and gratitude, saying, “The IB programme at Oakridge has been an incredibly enriching experience. It has challenged me academically, fostered critical thinking skills, and nurtured my passion for learning.”

Oakridge Visakhapatnam

Oakridge Visakhapatnam students achieved a diploma score average of 32 against the global average of 30.2. Shritan B secured 41/45 points and stood out as a topper. He will start his exciting journey at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, USA, which is ranked in QS World University Rankings.

Other toppers are Ashrita P, who will be heading to the land of kangaroos to pursue her bachelor’s in Global Business Administration and Varshith. B, who will be heading to the University of Manchester, UK.
