Winners announced for our International Film Festival 2022!

50 films. 22 Schools. 12 Judges. 16 prizes.

Congratulations to our Oakridgers, who came out as the winners across Nord Anglia Schools in the NAE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2022.

Mohithya of Grade 9 CBSE from Oakridge International School, Visakhapatnam has received the first place for her documentary work, ‘Shravani the Village Girl’ in Global Campus Writers Award under the 7-9 Years category. 

A group of students (Tanvi, Sahiti, Anika, Krishna, Uppala, Purvi, and Shlok) from Oakridge International School, Gachibowli have received the first prize for their Narrative film, ‘Mirai’ in Global Campus Writers Award under the 10-13 Years category.

Two more films from Oakridge International School, Gachibowli also got recognition as ‘Highly Commended’ for their work under 7-9 Years Category – A Forgiving Friendship (Narrative Film) and The Single Paintbrush (Animation Film). 

Congrats to Pim, Year 8 at St Andrew’s, for winning ‘Best in Show’ at the inaugural NAE film festival. Her film ‘We Create our own Future’ also won for ‘Best Music’. Click to watch it.

Congrats to our other winners including ‘Descent’, ‘The Time’, ‘Mirai’, ‘Shravani the Village Girl’ and ‘Aspirations’. We were delighted to see such creative and though-provoking pieces of art. Thank you to all 50 filmmakers and 12 judges who took part. We’re already looking forward to next year!
