2021 IB Diploma Programme results are in and they’re outstanding!              

Once again, this year marks the best IB Results from all our schools. For the 2020-21 academic year, a total of 30 students from Oakridge International School, Bengaluru and 87 students from Oakridge International School, Gachibowli sat for their IB Diploma exams.

Oakridge International School, Bengaluru

Impressively, graduates of the IB Diploma Programme at Oakridge International School, Bengaluru, performed extremely well with the average diploma score being an outstanding 36.53, which is more than 3 points higher than this year’s IBDP global average of 33.02. The school has achieved 100% pass rate, whereas worldwide, the average pass rate is 86.5%.

Sehrish from Oakridge Bengaluru have secured 43 score and is the school topper. 30% of our total cohort scored 40 and above with an average subject grade of 5.73 at Oakridge Bengaluru, which is again higher than the global average of 5.19 this year and an outstanding 43 points as the highest score.

Further to this, students of the IB Diploma Programme at Oakridge International School, Gachibowli, have been raising the bar with each passing year. For the 2nd consecutive year, another trio of Oakridge Gachibowli scored the perfect 45 in the 2021 IB Diploma, which is the highest score point.

The average diploma score is an outstanding 35.78, which is more than 2 points higher than this year’s IBDP global average of 33.02.

Nishitha, Tejaswi and Vansh from Oakridge Gachibowli have secured the perfect 45 score. 20.6% of our total cohort scored 40 and above with an average subject grade of 5.63, which is again higher than the global average of 5.19 this year.

From Great Results to University Placements

Most of our graduating students have already received successful placements and scholarships in the best universities across the world.

Saanvi from Oakridge Gachibowli has got admission to the University of California, Berkeley for Economics. Nishitha, our perfect 45 scorer from Oakridge Gachibowli has got an admission to Brown University, an IVY League Institute to pursue Biological Sciences as she aspires to be a Doctor. Sanjay from Gachibowli school has got an admission to the University of California, Berkeley to study Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), which is currently ranked 3rd in the world for the subject area of EECS by global higher education analysis firm Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) for 2020.

The school topper from Oakridge Bengaluru, Sehrish will join McGill Canada, Vaishnavi at UCLA, Simran at Erasmus University, Netherlands, Vignesh at Boston University, Keya at Ashoka University, Mushin at the University of Manchester, Chanakya at the University of Maryland, Faayez at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign, and Kabir, who has got admission at the University of Toronto, Mississauga Campus, Canada.
