Oakridgers getting involved in Global Social Impact Challenge

  • 1 March 2022

As part of the Global Social Impact Challenge, our students from Oakridge schools are tackling the Sustainable Development Goals.

This year, in line with Nord Anglia’s and UNICEF’s advocacy priorities, Oakridgers and students from across the globe are being challenged to develop actions around four key areas: Climate and Environment, Education, Vaccinations and Immunisations, and Mental Health and Wellbeing.

The students were invited to submit a Global Challenge Action Plan that summarises what actions have been taken towards these goals so far and next steps. They also have the opportunity to take things one step further, and apply for a Charitable Giving Grant, which would award funding toward their projects.
