Ms.Hema Chennupaty in interview with TIMES NOW

At the recent Living Room Conclave India Education Mission 2021 conducted by TIMES NOW, Ms.Hema Chennupaty, Principal at Oakridge Gachibowli, Hyderabad shares her insights about the future of online education in these changing times.
She speaks about India’s blooming edtech industry and how students, as well as parents, braved the changing times. Students were more adaptive to technology than teachers. She highlights the importance of the physical and mental health of students for academic excellence.
This apart, there were two more panelits Prof. P.B.Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, Amity University, Gurugram, who spoke about innovation and technology that marked the COVID-19 times and Prof. Sankarshan Basu, Finance & Accounting, IIM-B, who has highlighted how a lot can be done to make India a Global Education hub.
Furthermore, Ms. Hema Chennupaty speaks about the new education in the new normal that how we mould the child’s mindset according to the mode of education. Giving an example, she said “Leadership is something that needs to be imbibed into children. It’s not something that you actually teach but is something that you expose them to, in terms of skills, you instill in them. Be it checking on a new initiative, maybe a community service, or TED Talk, or being an orator, these are small ways and you can train our children. Being in a virtual platform, these things continue.”
