Dear Parents,

As we step into the new academic year, I’m proud to highlight the remarkable achievements and milestones our students have reached this month. From the inspiring Graduation Ceremonies for EY 2, Grade 5, and Grade 12, to university placements across the globe, our learners are making great strides academically and beyond. This month also saw our students excel in sustainability initiatives like Go4Organic and shine in the Rangotsav Art competition.

As we prepare for the exciting year ahead, I wish each of you a safe and restful summer break — recharge, reconnect, and create joyful memories with family. If you haven’t already, do make use of our now-active Book Cart facility to purchase books and uniforms in time for a smooth start.

With a spirit of curiosity and creativity, our school continues to thrive as a community dedicated to nurturing the future leaders of tomorrow. Let’s celebrate these achievements together and continue promoting excellence, sustainability, and global citizenship.

Warm regards,
Shaila Bhamidipati
Principal

Go4Organic: Innovating for a Greener Future

At Go4Organic – Science for Sustainability, our DP 2 students combined their science and CAS initiatives, to create impactful prototypes that align with MIT’s “Build Better” theme, including:

  • LeafSync: Revolutionising hydroponics for smarter plant growth
  • Maglev: A fresh approach to wind energy
  • AgroTech+: A cutting-edge smart greenhouse for sustainable farming

Beyond their prototypes, the students spearheaded surveys, awareness campaigns, and fundraisers, resulting in a flourishing organic farm and compost pit on campus. This initiative was more than just about science — it was a commitment to sustainability, purpose, and global impact.

Earth Day 2025: Empowering Young Changemakers

Our students came together to celebrate Earth Day with creativity, care, and commitment. Hands-On Learning: Exploring Key Concepts

Our Early Years and Primary Years students have been actively exploring and learning through a range of hands-on activities that bring key concepts to life. From understanding fractions and decimals, to studying the structure of lungs and sense organs, the learning journey has been both fun and informative. Students also delved into nouns, explored the phases of the moon, dissected flowers to learn about their anatomy, and engaged with shapes, numbers, and quantities. These interactive experiences have sparked curiosity and fostered a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Exploring Through Experiments and Challenges

Our students have also been immersed in a variety of exciting lab activities, bringing scientific concepts to life. From isolating DNA from green peas and onions to creating edible models of cells for a deeper understanding of cellular biology, they have been actively engaging with key biological processes. In addition, they’ve tested their analytical skills with quizzes, solved intriguing murder mysteries to promote critical thinking, and explored chemical reactions through combination, decomposition, and precipitation experiments. These hands-on experiences are fostering critical thinking and a love for science!

Each morning begins with positive affirmations that plant seeds of confidence, calm, and self-awareness in our young minds. These simple, consistent reflections help create a nurturing environment where students can grow emotionally, build resilience, and carry forward a mindset of balance and self-care.

This year, the Digital Art and Design Club became a space for students to explore the basics of digital art, master new software tools, and experiment with freeform digital art, poster designs, and murals. Through idea-sharing, discussions, and creative challenges, students sharpened their skills and discovered new ways to express their imagination and collaborate.
