Ms.Lydia had joined Oakridge International School in 2016 as Head of Primary. Prior to this, she was the Headmistress at Espee Global School, Rookee.

She has worked as an IB-PYP teacher for 4 years, moved on as a IB –PYP Coordinator and stepped into senior leadership in the year 2011 and she aims to continue to grow in the field of education by consistently working and equipping herself with the latest technologies. She holds a Masters in English. AMI Montessori Diploma holder and passionately involved in many regional and in-school workshops for both IB-PYP and CP curriculums. She firmly believes that every child is unique and is blessed with inner talent. It is our responsibility to nurture the children in such a way where they bring out the best in them. The most important thing is to provide a conducive environment to enhance their skills, imbibe the right qualities and develop them as compassionate global citizens who would make this world a better place.

Prior to joining the Oakridge Team, Ms.Lydia was the PYP coordinator at Indus International School, Hyderabad. In 2011, she stepped in to Espee Global School as a Senior Leader Team Member. She was the founder Headmistress, where she got an opportunity to start and set up everything from scratch. She developed the whole Primary Curriculum and ensured each and everything in the school is aligned with the philosophy and Standards of IB-PYP. She has also produced numerous documents for parents and teachers, including policies, such as Assessment, Inquiry Based Learning and other curriculum guidelines and had created her own strategies to lead parent workshops to spread awareness of the curriculum and understand the need of 21st Century parenting.

From the age of 14, she was into planning the monthly budget and helped parents to balance their monthly budgets. She utilized this skill in life, personally as well as professionally. For Lydia, being ambitious is a way of life. She is grateful for the fact of being with children and a community of lifelong learners.

Lydia had always dreamt that she should be working abroad to explore cultures and learn from a Global Community. According to her, Nord Anglia has made her dream come true because being a part of 73 Prestigious schools across the world and getting to learn and share with each other is something that can’t be expressed in words. The School’s philosophy and attention to the development of the whole child ensures that your child’s learning journey will not only focus on high academic standards but will ultimately create confident, caring, well-rounded citizens.
