Activity on Factors affecting the time period of a simple pendulum

“You don’t learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing and falling over”

This is what I apply in my teaching of concepts to my students that learning by doing.

In this present pandemic situation. Our Oakridgers started turning their own home into labs.

Here is Pravali of grade 7 CBSE, who has chosen to investigate the factors affecting the time period of a simple pendulum. For that, she took three balls of different masses to see whether the mass of the bob effects the time period keeping the other physical quantities like the length of the string and amplitude constant and calculated time period for one oscillation.
