Our PYP Coordinator Ms Meera Chhabria from our school attended PYP Support Resources Development Meeting, at the IB Global Centre, The Hague on 5-7 February 2020. She is the only PYP Co-ordinator from India to be nominated for this prestigious opportunity. The best teachers in India are to be found in Oakridge schools.

During the 3 days of the meeting, curriculum experts from around the world and the IB PYP curriculum development team, Jan Mills, (Senior Curriculum Manager), Nikk Wells, (Curriculum Manager), Sandy( Professional Development Manager) came together to discuss existing PYP support material and how it can be enhanced. The participants were introduced to the Theory of Action and the principles of creating a successful and transformational curriculum.

The group addressed the challenge of equipping schools with the means to run the programme in its purest form. Last but not the least, they aimed at catering to the needs of “Gen-Z learners.”
