“Necessity is the mother of invention”, they say. And I could see it happening and experience it through the Virtual Schooling we started due to the COVID-19 situation across the world. It opened new pathways of learning, and enabled us teachers as well as students to discover that “Learning never stops at Oakridge”.
We, a set of passionate teachers, understood within a span of a few hours, how it works. We are motivated enough to try anything new in order to not just run the classes online but keep it as interesting as normal classes. In fact, it turned out into a competition among teachers to showcase various modes of Virtual Learning. We encouraged each other such that even the not-so-tech-savvy teachers started having successful online classes.
As for students, they provide us feedback on each class to make it better. If not for them, we will not be where we are right now. Teaching and Learning is so intertwined that the more we keep teaching, the more we keep learning and that’s what motivates us and make us keep realizing our passion.
