Masked, an artwork by Oakridger Sahana, has been displayed in the Erie Art Museum’s 96th Annual Nicole and Harry Martin Spring Show!
“Art is not just a hobby it’s a passion. Art is not just a drawing it’s an experience. Art is not just a perfect painting it’s a creative thought.” said Sahana. Further, she added, “I made this painting “masked” after I observed some of the people around me. It felt like they were hiding their true selves under a mask, and nobody could see who they really were. Thus, an idea was born.
My art was selected to be a part of Spring Show Erie Art Museum Pennsylvania USA amidst 500+ artworks. The art conveys different expressions we wear as per our situation some we choose and some we are forced into choosing.”
