Guest lecture on Culinary Arts by Juui Advani

PYP Exhibition process has been initiated with great fervor and excitement. Culinary Arts, along with the other 4 groups was decided as one of the focus groups for the Exhibition 2020-21 as a medium to express ourselves. Ms Juui Advaani, who is a certified chef with a passion and love for food and world cuisine, has played a vital role during the Envision program is triggering the interest of students towards this art as it uses all the 5 senses. She has introduced students to amazing activities, wherein they could understand the Culinary from various aspects and not just cooking.

Furthermore, Ms Juui, graciously accepted to be the guest speaker for the Culinary arts group once again and this time her objective was to introduce the learners to the “Art of eating with eyes”- We eat with our eyes first- where she has talked about aesthetics, appeal and presentation of food to make it more palatable. She introduced the students to the rules of setting the table and plating, simultaneously informing them about successful careers by pursuing this creative art. The students were mesmerized by her session and were engrossed in understanding every minute detail whilst enjoying the process.
