Learning outside the classroom

Learning outside the classroom

Field trips are crucial to acquire knowledge, understand the culture and get hands-on experiences. Such trips give students a chance to connect classroom lessons to real-life experiences. At Oakridge International School, we encourage our kids to explore the world outside and learn things from real-life applications.

Accordingly, our students from Vizianagaram campus went on a field trip to a farm to see farm animals. Children thoroughly enjoyed the experience of watching various animals like cow, goat, buffalo, ducks, and hens. Children had an interactive discussion and answered questions asked enthusiastically. They enjoyed the farm atmosphere and expressed their love and affection to the host by saying thank you and handing a token of appreciation.
