As one of the earliest members of the staff, I have seen Oakridge International School grow and achieve so much. From just a school with the highest grade as 6 I have seen it reach year 12.

I started my career in the year 2006 as a trainer. Supporting adults navigate the jungle of new technology, guiding them in better communicating with the world, I realized the importance of education and that too the right one. I joined the primary education field in 2012 as a Home Room Teacher for Grade 4. With an attitude of ‘Never say never’ I took up the mantle of a Team Leader and supported colleagues in creating and imbibing world class education. I moved up to become the Activity Coordinator with responsibilities that helped in developing student potential through various activities and sports. A huge achievement at this time was the successful authorization of the International Baccalaureate curriculum. Prior to becoming the Head of Primary Years Program I took a trip around the world to explore and experience. Rejoining the school, I was lucky to take the school through its first ever IB Evaluation with no matters to be addressed and 9 commendations.

I had been nominated for the Economic Times Young Leaders 2016 program and experienced that leadership is more than a designation. I have also been privileged to have been a part of various professional development programmes and leadership courses. I believe that it is not the quantum that matters, however, it is the quality of experiences that one lives through. I work with a team of extremely enthusiastic, committed and resilient teachers who believe that each learner deserves the very best that they can offer.

I enjoy spending time with my family, watching acclaimed series and reading and am an avid follower of Harry Potter which to my ‘go-to’ book! I love conversations with young minds and their never ending stories!
