Celebration of linguistic diversity

“If you talk to a person in a language he understands, it goes to his head. If you talk to him in ‘his’ Mother Language it goes to his heart. Such is the impact of Mother Language! “Recognising and appreciating the different languages and cultures of the school as an international community helps individuals to grow as global citizens.

Our students, parents, and teachers celebrated the International Mother Language Day on 21 February, It was a joy to see parent contributing by teaching students simple words of their mother tongue, explaining about the importance of language. The highlights were storytelling, role-plays and singing in different languages.
