Interdisciplinary learning approach with MIT Steam Festival

This festival was a platform for students from Oakridge International Schools across India to share their fervour for the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) approach towards learning. The festival held on 9-10 January 2020 at our school campus offered an introduction to new technology and resources, guest lectures, hands-on activities and was an excellent opportunity for them to enhance 21st-century skills like collaboration and creativity.

During the special assembly, kids spoke about how the MIT STEAM collaboration encourages Nord Anglia students to achieve high levels of academic performance through new ways of learning which are based on the MIT ethos of blending in academic rigor along with the pursuit of fun. The interdisciplinary STEAM program draws on connections between subjects to enhance the learning experience.
