Problem-solving is one of the most important life skills. Therefore, we help students learn in ways that enable them to find ways to solve a problem. The regional competition of ‘Odyssey of the Mind’ was held at the Mayoor School,
Noida on 25 January 2020 and this offered yet another opportunity for our young Oakridgers to prove their mettle in creative thinking and problem-solving. The competition comprises two parts which involve long term and spontaneous problem-solving. One of our teams came on top in Spontaneous Problem Solving while the other team bagged the Silver medal by providing a creative solution for a long-term problem. The competition saw participants from across the nation where our Oakridgers marked their presence through a winning streak.
Odyssey of the Mind is an international creative problem-solving program that engages students in their learning by allowing their knowledge and ideas to come to life in an exciting, productive environment. Participants build self-confidence, develop life skills, create new friendships, and can recognize and explore their true potential.
The programme was facilitated by Ms Thangalakshmi from the PYP segment and Mr Gurpreet our drama facilitator.
