Despite COVID-19 shutdown Oakridge International School finds a way to conduct its Annual Expectation Meet, this time it was VIRTUAL!
The Virtual AEM was conducted for MYP 2 and MYP 3 (Middle years grade 7th and 8th) on the 26th and 27th of March. This was a scheduled event in our calendar but due to school closure, we had to innovate our strategy. We used technology to reach out to parents. The complete parent-teacher meeting (AEM) was organised and conducted through google Meet.
Parents are very appreciative of our endeavour. They have expressed how the virtual AEM has helped them to be updated on the progress and performance of their wards even during this unusual time. Many parents expressed this was indeed a better alternative than commuting to school and lining up to meet teachers.
It was an amazing experience for our teachers as well and they thoroughly enjoyed the process. Oakridge International School Bangalore can proudly announce that we are pioneers in virtual AEM. Different timings require different solutions. We prove yet again, that the learning and progress of our students is always our topmost priority.
