The IBDP explained

Students study six subject groups: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, and the Arts. Three of these groups are taken at a higherlevel, and three at a standard level.
Students will also need to complete the core programme – Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity and Service – to achieve their full Diploma.

Extended Essay - Gives students an opportunity to undertake independent research into a topic of special interest to them within the subject
Theory of Knowledge (TOK): A course that explores critical thinking, giving students an understanding of how we learn.
Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS): A range of activities that develop our students’ creative skills and wellbeing and support our local community.
