Meghana, was the Head girl of the school and the Secretary – General, PC MUN, and had attained 96.6% & 14th rank in the national ranking. An enthusiast to excel in finance and making prominent progress in that field, she joined Christ University, Bangalore. She pursued Bachelors in Economic Honour's where she played a crucial role at the Economics Association. She was the Co-founder of "The 1776 Syndrome" - Economics Fest, Co-founder of EconoMIXed Club Financial Literacy Drive (RBI), and the MC team. Currently, she holds a profound position at the D.E Shaw company as the Financial Research Analyst.

I came to India from USA a couple of days before joining the 11th grade at Oakridge International School, Bachupally. My friends and teachers at Oakridge helped me a lot in settling down in a different country. When I realised that I wanted to try to get into BITS Pilani, I had to written the SAT exam. Anytime I had difficulty with any of the subject matter, there was always a teacher who was willing to help me with it which allowed to me get the score required for BITS. After Oakridge, I got into Mechanical engineering and along with my studies, I also joined multiple clubs and departments in the college and helped with the organization of fests.
Senior years and specially 11th grade can teach you useful skills and allow you to pursue your interests in ways that stretch far beyond the classroom. It is also a crucial year as I had to streamline my passion with my career and go ahead with college selection. As a deputy prefect head I was exposed to leadership opportunities that helped me develop time-management skills. Also, the CAS activities at the school inspired me to use my passion for baking as a means to help the society and creating social awareness. I'm grateful to Oakridge and all my teachers for their relentless support with regards to my extracurricular activities which have enabled me to balance my academics and extracurriculars.

Grade 11 is the set-up year, this is when you take the prerequisite classes you need to take high-level classes later, also when you join the activities that will enable you to rise to a leadership level. On top of that, 11th grade can be a really hard adjustment year. You suddenly have university demands, much more academic and social pressure as it is the make-it or break-it year. At Oakridge, we stabilise the demands from a 11th grader to successfully launch their career paths.
My biology teacher was the one who inspired to take an interest in the field of medicine. I wish to get into paediatrics and can never forget the contribution of Oakridge in my overall development
