Fastest Finger First

“You learn something everyday if you pay attention” – Ray LeBlond

Children get distract very quickly, specially when some boring topic is being covered. Being an ICT teacher I like experimenting different tools in the class to get better results and most important is child’s interest. Last month, I tried Kahoot quiz in some of the classes and it led to better response. Kahoot makes you feel like your are playing “Kaun Banega Crorepati” fastest finger first. Its a site where I create quiz for a topic and kids get individual system to respond to the questions with some time limit. The child who gives right answer and shortest time wins.

To my surprise the kids have started volunteering for creating quiz on different topics from book and I give them chance to make the class play the game. Its amazing to see the enthusiasm in the class and I have 100% participation. It builds their confidence and gives me a clear picture with graph about the class performance.

Technology is wonderful and I’m loving it.
