Our current unit of inquiry is bout ‘Balance and Motion’.
To facilitate experiential learning, we set up an obstacle course for kids to play, have fun and also learn about balance through their bodies.
They learn the vocabulary associated with how many ways we can move. E.g., spin, rotate, slide, oscillate, to and fro, etc.
They learn the vocabulary associated with direction of movement. E.g., up, down, straight, through, zig-zag, left, right, circular, etc,
