Swathi Yanam represented Telangana state and played in three National Tournaments – BFI, SGFI and Khelo India. She also made it to the Telangana Basketball Federation state level tournament recently.
Ishvi Mathai of Grade 8 won two Gold medals in Backstroke 50 and 100 mts and Silver in Freestyle 50 mts representing RR dist in SGFI. She got selected for SGFI National Swimming Competition in all events to be conducted in Delhi.
Nihaal of Grade 9 bagged Gold and Silver medals in SGFI State level U-16 Skating Championship 2017 and got selected for nationals.
Akash Vedala of Grade 8 bagged a Gold medal in the SGFI Inter-district Basketball Championship and made it to the Sub Jr Basketball Federation of India(BFI) National Basketball Championship held at Rajasthan representing Telangana State.
Oakridger Logesh of Grade 9 won a Silver medal in the Basketball Federation of India(BFI) Sub Jr Inter-district Championship.
Ridah Shanavas of Grade 8 won a Gold medal in the SGFI Inter-district Basketball Championship.
Oakridge Einstein team wins the Design Championship 2017 under the Game Design category under senior level in Hyderabad and received the most prestigious award.
Shaurya of Grade 10 and Ishvi of Grade 8 won the SGFI ( School Games Federation of India) District Swimming Competition held in Hyderabad.
Prajwal Rao of Grade-9 got selected in the U-17 Cricket match at the District Level by School Games Federation of India.
Ishvi bagged the first position in 50m freestyle and the second position in the 50m breaststroke, whereas Keerthana Bathula won the second position in 50m freestyle in the GHMC Annual Open Swimming Championship 2017.
Oakridgers got selected in Medchal Zone Cricket Selections. Prajwal Rao Surabi, Amal Shifwath made it to the selections in Under 14 category and Rohit Poduri in under 17 category. Prajwal Rao Surabi also got selected for Ranga Reddy district.
Aashray Mathai of Grade – IV represented Ranga Reddy District in Telangana State Inter District Swimming Competition. He won Silver medals in 50-meter butterfly stroke and 50-meter back stroke.He was praised for not only his performance but also his spirit.
Oakridge Girls Basketball team of Bachupally School won the 5th Shri B. Ramender Reddy Memorial Inter School Basketball Tournament on 6th Aug’16 hosted by Niraj International School.
Sragvi M of Oakridge, Einstein School participated in the 122nd Brilliant Trophy Open Chess Tournament and secured a remarkable 2nd position.
Oakridger ” Neha KalagudI” of Grade V participated in the 16th International Child Art Exhibition and won a Gold medal.
Varshith from Oakridge, Bachupally School made it to Top 20 in U-11 National Chess Open Championship held at Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Varshith also won the runner-up trophy at Telangana State Chess U-9 selections and got selected for Indian National U-9 Chess Selections at Jalandhar, Punjab.
Ishvi Mathai of Grade-7 represented Ranga Reddy District in various swimming events and won medals in Freestyle, Backstroke and Individual Medley categories. Based on her performance, She has been selected to represent at Nationals.
A poem ‘Nature’s Might’ by Anurag Srujan, Grade V A, nominated for the Panorama Competition, conducted by My Super Brain, went on to win the second prize in the Poetry Category.
Ritvik Reddy of Grade– VIII topped the National Science Olympiad Level-I in the Telengana State region. An “Award of Excellence” was felicitated to him by the Science Olympiad Foundation.
Oakridge students, from Grade 1 to 5, participated in the Glendale Academy’s Utsav Umang competition, held on September 11th and 12th, as part of the Hindi Diwas celebrations. Tarasha, Grade II, won the First prize for the Poem Recitation Competition, Tanishka, Grade III, won the Second prize for Story Telling and Vishesh, Samarth, Siddharth, Kritin, Anish and Kaushal, Grade IV, bagged the Third prize for Laghu Hasya Natika.
Lokesh Duvvuru, Vineetha Pachava, Spoorthi T, Nitesh Sai, Harshal K were chosen by the “Jury of Game Jam Titans”, 2014, organized by Mindbox, in association with NASSCOM, at Hyderabad. The game designed by them, using a software called Unity, was among the top 5 games out of the 14, who participated.
A short-story- “A Special Gift”- written by Anushka Kaiwar, a student of Grade V C, from Oakridge Einstein School, was one of the short- listed stories, at the prestigious 17th edition of St. Paul’s Literary Prize Competition, organized by St. Paul’s School, Barcelona, Spain.
The fourth State level open to all styles of Kung Fu competition was held in Hyderabad, in which two of Oakridge students participated and stood First in respective categories. Sai Sriram, of grade VIIIA and Akhil, of grade VB, won gold medals.
