Oakridger Prabhsimrat sets a world record at 14, for being the youngest Non-Fiction Self-Published author of the book ‘Explore The New YOU’.

Meet Prabhsimrat Gill, a Grade 8 student from Oakridge International School, Mohali, whose first self-published non-fiction book – Explore The New YOU set a world record. He made it into the Asia Book of Records for being the Youngest Non-Fiction Self-Published Author. Earlier, he broke the national record for the same in OMG Book of Records. This book is also an international best-seller on Amazon USA and Canada.

‘Explore The New YOU’ is a book that portrays the quadrant of purpose, goals, beliefs and habits to help people achieve success and live with joy and happiness. The 14-year-old author explains finding the meaning and purpose one wants to fulfill in life in the first part of his book. Later, he touches upon ways to set the right goals to have a clear direction, preparing the mental foundation by overcoming fears and building confidence, and some key behaviours that accelerate the path to success.

During the lockdown, he understood the importance of mental health and wanted to inspire people while compiling his own thoughts and solutions in a book. “I want to inspire people to live up to their potential and lead extraordinary lives by reinventing themselves and following their dreams”, says Prabhsimrat.

It took him only 15 days to write the first draft and another 15 days to edit and refine. Within a month, it was the #1 book and Best-Seller on Amazon and has received loads of compliments and reviews.
