“The science of today is the technology of tomorrow”.
Students of Oakridge International School, Tagarapuvalasa conducted a science exhibition at the school on Wednesday 22nd April. It was inaugurated by the Director of the school, Mr Avneesh Singh
An array of exhibits was displayed which were done creatively by the students of grades 1 to 5. It is their work, which has been done according to the topic being taught during the academic year. There were a number of working models on display as part of the exhibition. One among them was a model, colour disc showing the dispersion of light. The other was a simple electrical circuit, a model to gravitational pull, which was explained confidently by children
A number of charts were put up showing Parts of a plant & Flower, Force, Simple Machines, Means of Transport, Solar System & Phases of Moon.
A presentation kept playing in the backdrop which flashed useful information on Digestive system.
A wonderful game was organised where grains of channa had to be sucked with the help of a straw to show the pressure of air. Children and teachers enthusiastically flocked around to try their luck & win prizes.
Two huge boards displayed Fruity Facts, Food Web & Food Chain.
Adaptations of animals & animal habitats were beautifully made in shoe boxes.
Children from grades 1 to 5 enthusiastically displayed & explained and answered queries of visitors.
