Avinash Sai Gogineni, an 8th Grade student of Oakridge, best IB Schools in Hyderabad, has proved his impeccable skills in Memory Championship, once again. He is currently ranked No.2 in all over India in U-13 category at 9th Indian National Memory Championship 2018, held on October 14 in Hyderabad. Under various events, he has won a total of 8 medals in different categories; a Gold medal in Names and Faces, 3 Silver medals each in Historical Dates, Random Words and Random Cards, 3 Bronze medals each in Speed cards, Binary Digits and Random Numbers. This apart he won a Silver medal for his overall performance in the Memory Championship. He achieved the 1st runner-up position in the national-level championship and received a cash prize as well. Avinash broke the record of 232 points for U13 Kids National in Names and Faces category by scoring 305 points.
This 12-year-old boy is now selected to participate in the World Memory Championship 2018 to be held in Hongkong in the month of December this year.
