Radiant Rhapsody 2017- the first-ever inter-school Performing Arts competition, conducted by Oakridge International School was a big success with a massive contribution from all the student volunteers along with the School Media Club of the Einstein campus. The objective of organizing an event like Radiant Rhapsody is to encourage the innate talent and provide all students a platform to showcase their creativity. The highlight of the event was that it was totally student led and driven. Oakridge Einstein also strongly believes getting the students ‘future ready’ said Hema Sanjay, Principal – Oakridge International School, Einstein.
The talent show received an overwhelming response with over 400 kids enthusiastically taking part in the competition from across all the Schools in Hyderabad and expressed their interest in such competitions. There were nerve wracking competitions among all the candidates in Music, Dance and Theatre such as music instrumental pro, music band orchestra and more. The talent exhibited by the kids was extraordinary and mesmerized the judges. The judging panel consisted of the most talented artists; Ms. Adina Kumar (a renowned musician trained under the legendary A.R.Rahman’s K M Music Conservatory), Mr. Nagaraju (a professional classical dancer, choreographer, Bio- Statistician), and Mr. Pramod Kumar (an eminent theatre artist). The prize distribution to the participants and winners of all the competitions was held on the final day and hence, the valedictory ended up.
On this occasion, one of the judges Adina Kumar said, “Radiant Rhapsody is an excellent event. It was a pleasure to be here as part of this incredible inter-school talent hunt competition. I would love to visit the school again to meet these people and students.”
