Oakridge facilitates learning through a variety of media - games, play, experience, movies, PPTs, fun, pictures, entertainment etc. learning through play activities is essentially focussed developing habits of mind children will need for future learning. We require children
a) To follow directions
b) Taking turns and sharing
c) Develop attention span
d) Problem solving
e) Persistence and frustration tolerance
Resources are developed and pooled so that children learn everything through experience and also encouraged to learn through interesting activities and interaction. Their experience during the day (not only through specific activities that we plan for them) make them learn. The teachers are trained to devise activities as per the requirements of our curriculum. Individual children response do mean a lot to Oakridge teachers.
