Boarders will have to respect this timetable to ensure their well being. For this reason, punctuality is stressed.
Q. What are the visiting hours for the parents and the days for visiting?
A.
Parents are allowed to visit boarders on 2nd or 4th Saturday & Sunday between 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the earmarked place in school ,by prior information only. Un-authorized visitors will not be allowed at the main security entrance.
Q. Are there medical facilities available with the school?
A.
There is a full time nurse and a Doctor on call.
Q. How do we deal with home sickness of students?
A.
The boarding school is a home away from home and looks after the emotional requirements of children. The programme is designed in such away to extend maximum mental comfort and adaptability to child.
Q. What is the procedure for the booking and out how frequent is it?
A.
Students can book out on 2nd or 4th Saturdays after 3:00 pm and should book in before 07:00 pm on Sundays. They can be booked out by escorting parents or escorted by teachers on a structured outing organized by the school. Six bookouts in a year spread over as -3in Term 1, 2 in Term 2 and 1 in Term 3. Persons holding authorization letters from parents will not be entertained.
Q. Are there outings for the student and how does it happen?

A. Organized outings by the school happen and the parents will be informed about this before hand by communications.
Q. Are there visitors allowed in the school a part from the parents?
A.
Visitors are not allowed to the hostel premises under any circumstances.
Q. Are there enough tutors to look after the remedial needs?
A.
The housemasters, tutors and teachers will look after the supervise studies and remedial classes.
Q. How do the children communicate with the parents?
A.
The children will have an access to a public telephone in the hostel premises which will connect them to pre determined numbers agreed with the parents.

Academic session starts from June to April, we are open with mid year admissions also.

8:30 am to 12:15 pm – Nursery, PP1 & PP2-(PrePrimary Segment) 8:30 am to 3:00 pm – Grade 1 and above.

Once in a month and our staff is flexible in meeting/talking to parents they need not wait for PTM-Parent Teacher Meetings, We have specific teachers time when the parent can call every day, Weekly transactions are also been sent online to every parent at the weekends.
Q. What arrangements do you have for transport? Do you have a door pick up facility for the children?
A.
We have a fleet of 12 A/C buses plying from different parts of the city we have common pick and drop points close to the student’s house. As we have big buses we cannot operate them to by lanes.
Q. Do you provide any scholarships for meritorious students?
A.
Yes we do for specific classes only.
Q. What kind of extracurricular activities do you encourage among the children? What kind of sports do you encourage at school?
A.
Oakridge offers a wide variety of Extra-Curricular Activities like Swimming, Tennis, Soccer, Basketball, Cricket, Skating, Night camps, Field trips, Adventure camps and Student exchange programs with professional trainers.
Q. What hobby sessions do you have at your institute? Do you charge extra for that?
A.
If the child wants to expertise in any of the above he will be choosing it as a hobby, we call these programmes as CCEP- Co-Curricular Enrichment Programme. We do not charge anything extra the fee is all included together.
