Our school magazine, Spark, is an initiative adopted by the faculty and students of Oakridge International School. The name itself is reflective of the typical Oakridge student and the potential that each of us contain within us.
Merely reading books is not adequate for an education. Writing stimulates the mind and is a distinct form of expression. The endeavor of a school magazine is to collect and exemplify the work of its students. It is a worthy collection of articles, poems, pictures, paintings and short stories and is a representation of the temperament of the student body.
Spark illuminates the experience of school, by acting as an able memory keeper of all things won, accomplished, proposed, reviewed and thought by the students of our school. Our teachers also contribute articles and add their wisdom and experience to our creativity and thoughts.
An assemblage of the minds and hard work of everyone involved in Spark-right from the Senior Editor to the Publisher- is what makes this magazine so special to Oakridge International School.
