Clinical Psychology Unit

Oakridge - Welcome to Oakridge International School- International Schools-
  • Children more often than once undergo stress.Extra sensitive and emotional children tend to buckle and suffer from lack of concentration leading to undesirable performance in class.
  • To counter this problem effectively, a  clinical psychology unit has been established at Oakridge
  • This unit identifies and conducts diagnosis of children's emotions - fear, anxiety, anger, uncertainty and sadness, and suggests treatment and follow ups from time to time. The sensitive and emotional child is counselled by expert psychologists.
  • Parents or guardians of children under stress are also offered guidance in helping their children to cope up.
  • The clinical psychology unit aims to realize the objective of OIS to enable all children to discover their inner potential, and develop as successful global citizens.
