Oakridge believes that majority of students in school are diciplined and that the school officials want safelty in the school for studetns. We know that many incidents begin with smaller issues which left unattended and can escalate.We base our services on the belief that by being proactive through a variety of strategies school officials can often prevent larger, more serious incidents from occurring.
Safety - Fire Drill Practicing
Fire Drill at Oakridge is a key to fire safety and protection. It is practised twice a year. We will determine two dates each year that will hold future fire drills.
Safety Measures in Lab
We in Oakridge teach the children about labs and their safety procedures while they are doing practicalls, we teach them never to touch, tasete or smell any chemicals that they do note know for a fact is harmless. We teach them to dispose off all the chemicals as instructed by the teacher and other safety measures in the lab. We have hands-on experience are essential to learning in sceince classes, but safety must be the first concern.
