The institution's curriculum approach is inquiry based and offers three types of curriculums (IB-PYP, IGCSE and CBSE ) applicable to different grade levels across a student's educational life in the school.

Oakridge started in the academic year 2001 and the members of the board are Mr.Shomie Das-Chairman, Mr. Y.Rajasekhar Babu & Mr. Naga Prasad – Founder Directors, Mr. Prasanna – Jt. Managing Director.
3. When does your academic year begin and end? Do you have any mid year admissions?
Academic session starts from August, we are open for mid year admissions also.
4. What is the total strength of your school? How many branches do you have across the city/ country?
The total strength of all the campuses is over 3700 students. We have more than 3 branches across the country. Our 4th campus is coming up in Bangalore and will be operational from the academic year 2012- 13

5. What are the timings of the school?
8:20 am to 12:20 pm – Nursery, PP1 & PP2-(PrePrimary Segment)
8:20 am to 3:20 pm – Grade 1 and above

7. How often do you have parent teacher meetings?
Once in a month and our staff is flexible in meeting/ talking to parents they need not wait for PTM- Parent Teacher Meetings. We have specific teachers time when the parent can call every day, Weekly transactions are also been sent online to every parent at the weekends.
8. What arrangements do you have for transport? Do you have a door pick up facility for the children?
We have a fleet of 50 A/C buses plying from different parts of the city we have common pick and drop points close to the student’s house. As we have big buses we cannot operate them to by lanes.
9. Do you have a canteen facility? What kind of hygiene standards do they follow?We have our own Kitchen-the food is cooked here it is healthy, nutritious and vegetarian food. We have our own Nutritionist taking care of the daily menu and hygiene. We have an outsource catering service by Sodexo- well recognized multinational company.
10. Do you provide any scholarships for meritorious students?
Yes we do for specific classes only.
11. What kind of extracurricular activities do you encourage among the children? What kind of sports do you encourage at school?
Oakridge offers a wide variety of Extra-Curricular Activities like Swimming, Tennis, Squash, Soccer, Basketball, Cricket, Skating, Rock Climbing, Night camps, Field trips, Adventure camps and Student exchange programs with professional trainers.
12. What hobby sessions do you have at your institute? Do you charge extra for that?
If the child wants to expertise in any of the above he will be choosing it as a hobby, we call these programmes as CCEP- Co-Curricular Enrichment Programme. We do not charge anything extra the fee is all inclusive.
13. What special provisions, if any, do you have for weak children/slow learners? Do you have a student counselor on campus?
Yes we have a team in the Supportive Instruction Unit lead by a child psychologist Mrs. Shakila Naidu, Remedial teachers who are appointed to support the slow learners to overcome their learning disability. Supportive Instruction Unit - School has the arrangement of one to one teaching for students who are not able to cope up in class and group even after repetitive instruction and in-class support.
For students who have advance intellectual skills and need more challenging work we put them on to the Programme for Academically Talented Students- PAT
14. What kind of emergency medical facilities do you have on campus?
School has in-house appointment of a doctor and a nurse during school hours and a 6 bed medical wing. We also have a tie up with the Apollo Hospitals for emergency cases.
15. What kind of arrangements do you have for purchasing books and uniforms?
We have our own book store in the campus where the parents can pick the books from. Uniforms are outsourced to BrassLeaf Apparels.
16. Does your school follow any specific philosophy different from other regular schools?
